Hotel indigo baltimore maryland11/11/2023 ![]() ![]() The other person could still be in bed or stepping out of the showers not dressed properly. If one person goes out and comes back in the morning to get coffee, with the door open you have a full view of the room. We also realized that the room door right next to the bed was a really awkward design. We had to use all the remaining towels to block the water from getting in the bed area. The bathroom floor was covered with water. After we both showered in the following morning, we realized there was a leak in the shower stall. My husband had to open the water tank to stop the running water. The water would continue running depending on the way you push down the handle to flush. Later into the evening, we realized the toilet didn’t flush properly. We were a little surprised as we’ve never stayed at a room of this size and layout in the past at this hotel. The room assigned to us was really small and with the door right next to the bed. We had to go back to the front desk twice to get both cards to work. The check-in this time was not very smooth. The hotel was clean and pet friendly, at a great location, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Pre-Covid, we used to stay at the hotel a few times a year whenever we visited Baltimore. It was not a pleasant experience all-in-all, sadly.Our recent stay at Hotel Indigo for 2 nights was extremely disappointing. I'd eat there again, as the food was pretty good. If we'd known, we would have walked around the corner - but it was totally freezing outside. He was awesome and clearly the kitchen was having issues. ![]() Finally, the jazz stopped but by that time, were being offered dessert. Folks had to leave to catch trains 9 and left. Fourth: The food arrived appx 2 hours after we were seated. Third: The drinks arrived appx 1 hour after we were seated. None of us could hear each other, the waiter couldn't hear us. One member of our party actually had to "chug" his $15 cocktail and leave in order not to miss an event elsewhere. Drinks were very pricey and took well over half an hour to arrive. TV should have tipped us off re what was to come. Thought the place had potential when we walked in as the decor has some interesting aspects (Venetian mirrors, actual color - not brown! - paint on the walls, etc.) but the presence of a.
